Passionate supporters of the pop star are demanding that a person who breached a fence and grabbed the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A viral video shows the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the cast made its way down a promenade flanked by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being detained", though official papers revealed that he was set to attend court on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account contains clips of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is clearly a punishable act," wrote an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Safety

Many followers criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote a further message on Instagram.

Several attendees also questioned security officers at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Many of attendees had congregated in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be released on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-film interpretation of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the unexpected relationship between two distinct sorceresses.

The musical itself is a derivative of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and received ten Oscar nominations, winning a pair for excellent wardrobe and production design.
