Vinted Users Share Displeasure Over Sizing Updates
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The popular resale platform has revised its sizing categories for women's and children's garments but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
It has advised users to review their products and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, which has left users frustrated.
Sizing System Updates
Previously, the measurements included one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, based in Derby, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: previously, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods after backlash from users.
